Dic Penderyn memorial
Memorial plaque to Dic Penderyn, martyr of the Welsh working class, who was hanged outside Cardiff Central Market on 13 August 1831 for his part in the Merthyr Rising. The plaque is outside Merthyr Library.
There are also annual commemorations in Cardiff and Port Talbot, where his body was taken for burial.
